Strict supervision is an important foundation for the stable operation of long-term care insurance. Zhang Xifan, head of the Treatment Security Division of the National Medical Insurance Administration, stated at a press conference on March 26 that as the long-term care insurance system gradually expands, relevant departments will guide various regions to draw on the mature experience of medical insurance fund supervision, establish a regulatory system and work mechanism that fits the characteristics of long-term care insurance operation, regulate service behavior, safeguard fund security, and focus on promoting supervision work from three aspects.
