The main towers of Lion Rock Bridge, the world's largest double-deck cable-stayed bridge, have reached the top.
At about 11 o'clock on March 26, the key control project of the core hub project of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area - the Lionrock Channel, the Lionrock Bridge, achieved the topping out of the east and west main towers and entered the construction of the upper structure. The Lionrock Channel is 35 kilometers long, with the main project consisting of the Lionrock Bridge and the land lead-in project, spanning the throat of the "A"-shaped tip of the Pearl River Estuary, connecting Nansha District in Guangzhou and the towns of Shatian and Humen in Dongguan. It is another important move for the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. In the future, it will work together with the surrounding road network to build a "one-hour living circle" and help the high-quality construction and development of the Pearl River Delta urban agglomeration.
