The Ministry of Natural Resources signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the World Bank Group.

On March 23, the joint office of the Global Ecosystems and Transition Center of China-World Bank Group was inaugurated in Beijing. Vice Minister of the Ministry of Natural Resources Sun Shuxian and World Bank Vice President for East Asia and Pacific region, Hartwig Schafer, signed a memorandum of understanding to support the establishment of global knowledge centers. The Ministry of Natural Resources and the World Bank have agreed to enhance knowledge sharing and experience exchange among government officials, technical experts, and researchers in the fields of ecosystem restoration, spatial planning and land use policy, natural resource management, natural capital accounting, etc. The Global Knowledge Center Technical Support Center will be established based on the Ministry of Natural Resources Land Consolidation Center.
