State Council Taiwan Affairs Office: Will continue to create more conditions for Taiwanese compatriots to come to the mainland.
A reporter asked: Recently, a tech blogger from Taiwan attended the Apple Company's spring new product launch event in Shanghai. In a short video posted, he expressed that "happiness is so simple," enjoying the long-awaited pan-fried buns and his favorite coffee. This has attracted attention from netizens on both sides of the strait, with many mainland netizens commenting in the section suggesting "learning to use delivery platforms to get coupons." Previously, there were also Taiwanese media personalities sharing their experiences of visiting Chengdu for the first time on social media platforms, praising the cute pandas, good local restaurant service, affordable prices, and diverse cuisine. What is the spokesperson's comment on this? Spokesperson Zhu Fenglian said that indeed, we have seen many active Taiwanese internet celebrities on social media sharing their experiences in mainland China recently, and their fans have responded enthusiastically. This is a good thing for enhancing mutual understanding and communication between people on both sides of the strait. We will continue to create more opportunities for Taiwanese compatriots, especially young people, to come to the mainland, and hope that more and more Taiwanese compatriots will consider coming to the mainland and regularly visit to pursue different life experiences.
