Microsoft will lease the data center in Texas that Oracle and OpenAI have abandoned.

According to informed sources, Microsoft has reportedly agreed to lease a data center project located in Texas, which was originally developed for Oracle and OpenAI. The Abilene data center has a capacity of around 700 megawatts and is located adjacent to Oracle and OpenAI's flagship Stargate campus.
