On March 24th, a symposium on price supervision inspection and anti-unfair competition work of the national market supervision system was held in Beijing. The meeting emphasized that 2026 is the beginning year of the "14th Five-Year Plan". The work of price supervision and competition should focus on building a strong domestic market, enhancing high-quality development momentum, establishing and practicing a correct performance evaluation concept, continuously improving people's well-being, and safeguarding the safety bottom line. Efforts will be made to deepen price supervision inspection, conduct thorough rectification of "inward-facing" competition, promote comprehensive governance of enterprise-related fees, increase efforts to combat unfair competition, innovate in protecting trade secrets, regulate direct selling and crack down on pyramid schemes, and enhance price supervision and competition capabilities. By better utilizing price governance and competition regulation functions, new achievements will be made to promote high-quality development and serve a good start for the "14th Five-Year Plan".
