Broadcom warns of supply chain restrictions, citing TSMC's production capacity as a bottleneck.

On Tuesday local time, chip design company Broadcom said it is facing supply chain constraints, including capacity limits at chip manufacturing partner TSMC. This highlights the ripple effects of surging AI demand on the entire tech industry. The head of product marketing for Broadcom's physical layer products division told the media on Tuesday, "We see TSMC facing bottlenecks. They will continue to expand capacity until 2027, but in 2026, this has already become a bottleneck, or in a way, it has jammed the entire supply chain."
