The import and export trade volume at Ar'ar-Hafr Al-Batin Port has increased by over 140% year on year.
Inner Mongolia's Ariha Shat port has welcomed a "red-letter day" for import and export trade. On March 24, Ariha Shat Customs released the latest data, showing that as of March 20, the port had accumulated a total import and export freight volume of 77,400 tons, with a total trade turnover of 164 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 142.38% in import and export trade value. Wang Yunlong, the head of the second division of Ariha Shat Customs, introduced that since the beginning of this year, the port has continued to expand imports of coal and other resources, while simultaneously increasing the export scale of goods such as cement materials, agricultural machinery, daily necessities, and fruits and vegetables. The overall freight volume has steadily increased. In January and February 2026, the port's import and export freight volume increased by 57.04% year-on-year; inbound and outbound transportation vehicles increased by 7.79% year-on-year, with a total of 21,100 passengers entering and leaving.
