Xiaomi Group announced that its accumulated research and development expenditure over the past five years has reached 105.5 billion yuan. The research and development expenditure in 2025 reached 33.1 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 37.8%. As of December 31, 2025, the number of research and development personnel reached a historic high of 25,457. In addition, it is estimated that starting from 2026, the cumulative research and development expenditure for the next five years will exceed 200 billion yuan.
