Guizhou Province Guiyang Municipal Committee former Deputy Secretary Huang Bo has been expelled from the party and removed from public office.

Approved by the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee, the Guizhou Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection initiated an investigation into the serious disciplinary and legal issues of Huang Bo, former deputy secretary of the Guiyang Municipal Committee of Guizhou Province. During the investigation, it was found that Huang Bo had lost his ideals and beliefs, deviated from his original mission, had a wrong view of achievements, engaged in "image projects" and "achievement projects," resisted organizational inspections, participated in feudal superstitious activities; disregarded the spirit of the Central Committee's eight-point regulations, accepted banquets that could affect the impartial execution of official duties, and had others pay for expenses that should have been paid by himself; violated organizational principles, sought benefits for others and accepted bribes during the adjustment and promotion of cadres, did not truthfully explain issues during organizational conversations; compromised his integrity, accepted gifts and money that could affect the impartial execution of official duties; used public power as a tool for personal gain, engaged in corruption, and illegally accepted large sums of money in exchange for benefits in project contracting, enterprise operations, and promotion through job adjustments.
