The State Council Information Office held a press conference on the 9th Digital China Construction Summit. Liu Liehong, member of the Party Group of the National Development and Reform Commission and director of the National Bureau of Statistics, said at the meeting that the next step will continue to promote the innovation and development of artificial intelligence empowered by data, and coordinate all parties to implement a new round of high-quality data set construction action plan. This plan includes six specific actions: strengthening the foundation, expanding capacity, overcoming labeling challenges, improving quality and efficiency, empowering applications, managing services, and unlocking value. With scene demands as the traction, accelerating the advancement of pilot projects, building AI-Ready high-quality data sets that are technically feasible, practical, convenient, and quality-assured, and achieving an increase in both the quantity and quality of high-quality data set supply.
