Iranian Energy Minister: Power and Water Supply Guarantees Unaffected
On the 23rd local time, Iranian Energy Minister Ali Akbarabadi stated that power plants across Iran are prepared for electricity generation, and relevant personnel are working around the clock to ensure that water and electricity supply are not affected. He said that currently it is not a peak electricity consumption period and there is sufficient electricity generation capacity. Akbarabadi also stated that threats by the U.S. to attack Iranian power facilities violate international law, and that attacks on Iranian power facilities are equivalent to attacks on the Iranian people.
