Guangzhou city's report cards for January to February have been released.

On March 23, the Guangzhou Bureau of Statistics released the economic performance of Guangzhou for the first two months of 2026. The data shows that during January and February, the added value of industrial enterprises above a designated size in the city increased by 5.6% year-on-year, with significant improvements in the three pillar industries. The city achieved a total retail sales of consumer goods of 217.128 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10.7%.
