According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, recently, Minister of Industry and Information Technology Li Lecheng, Deputy Ministers Xin Guobin and Xiong Jijun separately met with Apple CEO Tim Cook, Qualcomm President and CEO Cristiano Amon, SK Hynix President and CEO Guo Luzheng, Volkswagen Group Chairman Herbert Diess, Mercedes-Benz Group Chairman Ola Kllenius, Siemens Chairman and CEO Roland Busch, Ford River Group Chairman Andrew Forrest, Grohe CEO Tim Broen, Broadcom President and CEO Chen Fuyang, and American Chamber of Commerce in China Chairman Tan Sen who came to China to attend the China Development High-Level Forum 2026 Annual Meeting. The leaders of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology stated that China is vigorously promoting new industrialization, accelerating the construction of a modern industrial system with advanced manufacturing as the backbone, consolidating and strengthening the foundation of the real economy, and ensuring a good start for the "Fifteenth Five-Year Plan". China will further deepen comprehensive reform, continuously expand high-level opening to the outside world, create a market-oriented, rule-of-law, internationalized top business environment, and share with various parties the opportunities for China's modernization development. It is hoped that multinational enterprises will continue to deepen their roots in the Chinese market, collaborate with Chinese enterprises in the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain for innovative growth, and achieve mutually beneficial and win-win development. Leaders of multinational enterprises and business associations thanked the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology for its practical measures to support the development of multinational enterprises in China, expressing their willingness to actively participate in China's new industrialization process, further enhance the level and depth of cooperation with China, promote industrial scientific and technological innovation, provide better products and services, and jointly safeguard the stability of the global industrial supply chain.
