Xu Qingsen meets with Karen O'Brien, President of Durham University in the UK.

Recently, the Deputy Minister of Education, Xu Qingsen, met with Karen O'Brien, the President of Durham University, in Beijing. Xu Qingsen congratulated Durham University on establishing a joint college with Wuhan University, praised the achievements of the school in exchanges and cooperation with China, encouraged both schools to use this as a new starting point to continuously improve the quality of education, leverage their respective academic strengths, and build the joint college into a new benchmark for educational cooperation between the two countries. O'Brien thanked the Chinese side for their positive evaluation of the cooperation between Durham University and Wuhan University, and expressed willingness to further strengthen cooperation in talent cultivation with Chinese universities.
