International Atomic Energy Agency: Following recent troubling reports of military activities near the Bushehr nuclear power plant in Iran, Director General Grossi today had a telephone conversation with the CEO of the Russian state atomic energy corporation, Lykhachov, to obtain the latest information. The Director General reiterated that any military action should not endanger the physical integrity and safety of the nuclear power plant and its personnel, who must be able to carry out their important work in safe conditions.
