The annual growth rate of high-value patents in key areas of China's industrial enterprises exceeds 15%.

The State Council Information Office held a press conference today, during which the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology introduced that during the Special Action for the Transformation and Utilization of Patents, a "fast track" for patent priority examination was opened for key areas in the manufacturing industry to enhance innovation capabilities. By 2025, nearly a thousand patents were selected to enter this "fast track", resulting in an average reduction of more than half in the examination time compared to regular patents. The annual growth rate of high-value patents in key areas of China's manufacturing industry exceeded 15%, significantly improving the patent layout capability of core technologies. In terms of strengthening transformation and utilization, over 30 activities were carried out to empower companies with technological achievements, a special project called "integration of science, technology and industry finance" was implemented, and a special roadshow for the transformation of university scientific and technological achievements was held. More than 300 projects from cutting-edge fields such as new generation information technology and biomedicine actively signed up, receiving a total of 11.3 billion yuan in financing, promoting more achievements to evolve from technology to samples, and from samples to products, gradually forming an industry. In terms of enhancing service efficacy, a total of 245 industry technology basic public service platforms were established nationwide, providing professional public services such as intellectual property rights and industry information to enterprises. The platforms served over 11 million times annually, benefitting more than 950,000 enterprises.
