Australian Minister for Climate Change and Energy Chris Bowen said on the 22nd that due to the impact of the conflicts in the Middle East, the voyages of 6 fuel transport ships that were originally scheduled to arrive in Australia next month have been canceled or delayed. Bowen told the Australian Broadcasting Corporation on the same day that these 6 transport ships were from Malaysia, Singapore, and South Korea and were originally scheduled to arrive next month. He said that against the backdrop of the conflict in the Middle East, Australia's fuel supply will experience "some fluctuations," and the government will "work together with refineries and importers to mitigate the impact as much as possible." Bowen also stated that currently, Australia's fuel reserves are slightly higher than before the crisis, with gasoline reserves of about 38 days and diesel and aviation fuel reserves of about 30 days.
