The 2026 Jiangsu Province Legal Capital Enterprise Roundtable Conference will be held in Nanjing.

On March 20, 2026, the Jiangsu Province Foreign-funded Enterprises Roundtable Conference was held in Nanjing. Vice Governor Zhao Yan attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Consul General Wang Du from the French Consulate in Shanghai, leaders from relevant departments of Jiangsu Province and cities, and representatives from 34 French-funded enterprises attended the meeting. Zhao Yan pointed out that in the face of rare external impacts last year, Jiangsu resolutely shouldered the responsibility of being a leading economic province. The province ranked first in export increment and total retail sales of social consumer goods, fully demonstrating Jiangsu's strong industrial resilience and market vitality. Currently, more than 400 of the world's top 500 enterprises, including French-funded companies, have invested in Jiangsu. Jiangsu has nearly 400 sister cities internationally, not only building a world-class industrial ecosystem but also reflecting Jiangsu's distinctive characteristics of being inclusive and open-minded. Under the guidance of the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and France, Jiangsu hopes to continuously expand cooperation with France in trade and investment, technological innovation, green and low-carbon development, and cultural exchanges. Jiangsu will take the opportunity of hosting the 2026 APEC Trade Ministers' Meeting and other high-level international conferences to implement a new round of major opening-up measures, further optimize the business environment, provide more extensive market space for companies from France and other countries, and bring more cooperation opportunities.
