By the end of the year, all large-scale manufacturing enterprises in the city must fully achieve digital transformation. Beijing is making efforts to promote digital transformation in the manufacturing industry with substantial investments.

Recently, the Municipal Economic and Information Bureau held a meeting to deploy the work of digital transformation of the manufacturing industry in Beijing in 2026, introducing policies for digital transformation and the construction of 5G factories, and will provide real financial support to help enterprises complete the transformation. It was reported at the meeting that by the end of this year, the city strives to comprehensively achieve the digital transformation of large-scale manufacturing enterprises and create a benchmark for digital transformation in the national manufacturing industry. In recent years, Beijing has issued a series of policies including digital transformation incentives, "two new" policies, equipment upgrades, and other policies to support enterprises in building core competitiveness in the digital economy through digital empowerment and green transformation. In 2024, the Municipal Economic and Information Bureau issued the "Implementation Plan for the Digital Transformation of the Manufacturing Industry in Beijing," which brings together the efforts of platforms, industrial chains, and parks to promote digital transformation.
