Spot gold fell more than 3.2% on Friday, while New York gold futures fell about 11.1% this week.

On Friday in the New York session, spot gold fell by 3.25% to $4499.36 per ounce, accumulating a total decline of 10.37% for the week. Before 18:30 on March 18th Beijing time, it remained in a narrow range around the psychological level of $5000, then continued to decline. COMEX gold futures fell by 2.16% to $4505.70 per ounce, with a total decline of 11.07% for the week. It fell to $4478.40 on March 21st at 02:30.
