InterContinental Oil and Gas announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Enkai Petroleum and Natural Gas Co., Ltd., as the operator of the Naft Khana oil field in Iraq, signed a contract with China Oil Huibob Technology Co., Ltd. on February 2, 2026 for the "Naft Khana Oil Field Restoration Project Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operation and Maintenance Contract", with a total contract amount of 225 million US dollars. The project contract duration is 18 months for EPC engineering and 36 months for subsequent operation and maintenance services. This contract is an important restoration project for the company in the oil and gas sector in Iraq, which will help enhance the company's full-process service capabilities in overseas oil field operations and strengthen its market layout in the Middle East. The announcement highlights the presence of multiple risks such as international environment, construction period delays, exchange rate fluctuations, geography, and crude oil realization.
