According to the data, the year-end resident population in Fujian was 41.93 million in 2024, indicating a decrease of 30,000 residents last year. By the end of 2025, Jiangsu had a resident population of 85.18 million, a decrease of 80,000 from the previous year; Anhui had a resident population of 60.82 million, a decrease of 410,000 from the previous year; Hubei had a resident population of 58.11 million, a decrease of 230,000 from the previous year; Sichuan had a resident population of 83.18 million, a decrease of 460,000 from the year-end; Shandong had a resident population of 100.43 million, a decrease of 371,700 from the previous year; Qinghai had a resident population of 5.92 million, a decrease of 10,000 from the previous year; Guangxi had a resident population of 49.89 million, a decrease of 240,000 from the previous year; Guizhou had a resident population of 38.57 million, a decrease of 30,000 from the previous year; Gansu had a resident population of 24.43 million, a decrease of 150,000 from the previous year.
