On March 20, Dmitry Yadrv, the head of the Russian Federal Air Transport Agency, stated that the MS-21 aircraft is a key project in the Russian aviation industry, and that this model will replace the Boeing 737 and Airbus A320 in the future. The MS-21 is a medium-range narrow-body aircraft developed by the Yakovlev company. It can carry 163 to 211 passengers. It is expected that the certification work for this model will be completed by the end of this year.
