On Thursday, the New York session saw the euro rise 1.16% against the US dollar to 1.1586; the British pound rose 0.12% against the euro to 1.1592, and 1.31% against the US dollar to 1.3431. The US dollar fell 0.61% against the Swiss franc to 0.7882. In commodity currency pairs, the Australian dollar rose 0.90% against the US dollar, the New Zealand dollar rose 1.28% against the US dollar, and the US dollar rose 0.03% against the Canadian dollar. The Swedish krona rose 1.52% against the US dollar, the Norwegian krone rose 1.25% against the US dollar, and the Danish krone rose 1.19% against the US dollar. The Polish zloty rose 1.40% against the US dollar, and the Hungarian forint rose 1.95% against the US dollar.
