International Atomic Energy Agency: Earlier this month, during a planned maintenance period, the Sri Lanka nuclear power plant relied solely on its recently repaired backup power lines for several hours due to the deliberate disconnection of the main power supply line. The backup power lines had only been restored the day before, highlighting further the ongoing vulnerability of nuclear safety conditions in the event of a conflict.
