Recently, Shenzhen issued the "Operating Rules for the Promotion of High-Quality Development of the Digital Creative Industry Project Micro-Drama Support Plan" by the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism, and Sports. The "Operating Rules" will be implemented from March 13, 2026, with a validity period of 3 years. The "Operating Rules" refer to micro-dramas as audiovisual products with a single episode duration of less than 20 minutes, having a relatively clear theme and storyline, and a relatively continuous and complete plot. The support plan includes two major categories: micro-drama creation and production, and micro-drama industry services, covering 11 support directions. In terms of support standards, the "Operating Rules" have formulated differentiated and refined funding plans for different support directions, with a maximum total funding amount of 5 million yuan for the same applicant in the same batch.
