Google expands cooperation with public utility companies to reduce energy consumption during peak hours.

On March 19th, it was reported that Google has signed agreements with electricity companies in five states in the United States, from Arkansas to Minnesota, to reduce its own power consumption during peak electricity usage. The report stated that this is the latest move taken by the company to ensure the power supply for rapidly growing data centers in the face of slow growth in new power supplies.
