Tourists revealed that they found mice in their luxury hotel room, official report from LingShui, Hainan.

On March 18th, the Lingshui Tourism and Culture Radio, Film, Television, and Sports Bureau in Hainan province announced that in response to recent online reports of hygiene issues at hotels in the county, the bureau attached great importance to the matter and promptly organized inspections and arrangements. On February 10th, a consumer reported rodent problems while staying in a villa at a hotel in the county. The hotel immediately changed the room, provided a full refund, and hired a third party to conduct comprehensive disinfection and inspection, finding no other hidden dangers. Due to compensation matters, both parties have not yet reached an agreement. Following the report on February 20th, the bureau immediately intervened to coordinate and urge the hotel to properly resolve the dispute in accordance with the law. Currently, the hotel in question has completed comprehensive disinfection and increased daily inspections, as well as made up for deficiencies in rodent and insect prevention facilities. The local health regulatory department has completed inspections and all rectification tasks have been fully implemented.
