According to Chery Automobile Vice President Gu Chunshan, as mass production and popularization enter the final countdown, full solid-state batteries have become the focus of industry and user attention, with Chery's future investment in full solid-state batteries having no upper limit. It is reported that the Chery Rhinoceros Battery S series 60Ah, 400Wh/kg solid-state battery uses a sulfide system solid electrolyte and high-nickel ternary cathode material; the 600Wh/kg solid-state battery uses an in-situ polymer system solid electrolyte and lithium-rich manganese cathode material, achieving a range of over 1500km, with the goal of on-road verification by 2027.
