Today, one of the three major shipping hubs, the Qingnian Hub, of the Pinglu Canal began the dry test of the single gate with no water, marking the entry of the Pinglu Canal project into the equipment debugging stage. At the test site, journalists saw the heavy gate doors of the Qingnian Hub, weighing hundreds of tons, smoothly opening and closing in a dry environment under the precise control of the hydraulic opening and closing machine. Technicians simultaneously conducted individual tests and action verifications on the gate mechanical rotation system, hydraulic system, and electrical control system to ensure the smooth operation of each component.
