On the afternoon of March 18, Tencent revealed at a press conference after the financial report was released that HY 3.0 is currently undergoing internal business testing and is planned to be launched to the public in April. It is reported that this is a major upgrade of the hybrid model, with significant improvements compared to the HY2.0 version, with notable enhancements in reasoning and agent capabilities. Since the second half of 2025, Tencent has restructured teams and processes for the hybrid model, focusing on improving data quality and rebuilding infrastructure for pre-training and reinforcement learning, which will help to increase the speed of model iteration and create a pedestal model with higher intelligence levels.
