March 18th: The "Wholesale Price Index of Agricultural Products 200" dropped 0.17 points compared to yesterday.

According to the monitoring of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, on March 18, the "200 Index of Wholesale Prices of Agricultural Products" was 122.26, a decrease of 0.17 points from yesterday, and the "Basket of Vegetables" product wholesale price index was 123.88, a decrease of 0.20 points from yesterday. As of 14:00 today, the average wholesale price of pork in the national agricultural product market was 16.18 yuan per kilogram, a decrease of 0.1% from yesterday; beef was 66.15 yuan per kilogram, unchanged from yesterday; mutton was 64.68 yuan per kilogram, an increase of 0.2% from yesterday; eggs were 7.55 yuan per kilogram, an increase of 0.4% from yesterday; and white-feathered chicken was 17.29 yuan per kilogram, an increase of 0.5% from yesterday. The average price of 28 key monitored vegetables was 4.88 yuan per kilogram, unchanged from yesterday; and the average price of 6 key monitored fruits was 7.88 yuan per kilogram, an increase of 0.5% from yesterday. Crucian carp was 19.85 yuan per kilogram, a decrease of 0.1% from yesterday; carp was 14.42 yuan per kilogram, a decrease of 0.2% from yesterday; white carp was 10.47 yuan per kilogram, a decrease of 1.7% from yesterday; and bighead carp was 42.21 yuan per kilogram, an increase of 1.3% from yesterday. Today, among the 46 varieties of fresh agricultural products monitored in the domestic wholesale market, the top five with the highest price increase compared to yesterday are celery, shiitake mushrooms, pineapple, shallots, and Chinese cabbage, with increases of 3.0%, 2.7%, 2.4%, 2.2%, and 1.7% respectively; the top five with the biggest price decrease are spinach, white carp, watermelon, zucchini, and carrots, with decreases of 1.9%, 1.7%, 1.6%, 1.4%, and 1.4% respectively.
