PetroChina established a clean energy company for coalbed methane in Shanxi.

According to the QiChaCha APP, recently, China Petroleum Coalbed Methane Clean Energy Co., Ltd. was established, with Hou Wei as its legal representative. Its business scope includes onshore oil and gas extraction, mineral resource exploration, gas operations, centralized fast charging stations, energy storage technology services, etc. QiChaCha's equity penetration shows that the company is indirectly wholly owned by China Petroleum.
