An oil tanker was attacked in the Gulf of Oman.

The UK Maritime Trade Operations office said on the 17th that an oil tanker anchored in the Gulf of Oman was attacked by unidentified projectiles, reportedly causing minor structural damage with no injuries to personnel. The office said in a statement that the incident occurred 23 nautical miles east of Fujairah in the UAE, with no reports of environmental pollution. The statement did not provide further details.
