According to the news from The Paper, at the 2026 economic policy conference of Ningbo Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, it was emphasized to integrate enterprise advantages into the Yangtze River Delta strategy. Ningbo aims to become the "key support point" for the Shanghai International Science and Technology Innovation Center, and plans to transform its enterprise basic advantages through strengthening the enterprise echelon, collaborative research and development, element supply, and creating an ecological environment. Last year, Ningbo's GDP reached 1.8716 trillion yuan, ranking 11th among cities nationwide. The city's science and technology innovation policy focuses on enhancing enterprise research and development capabilities. It plans to allocate over 100 billion yuan at the municipal level in 2026 to support scientific and technological investment, and promote better integration of technology companies into national strategies.
