The "Future" ship sets sail, bridging the last mile of industrialization of domestic ship and marine equipment industry.

In the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan", it is proposed to strengthen the maritime strategic technology, accelerate the breakthrough of a number of key core technologies and equipment, and build more "national treasures". China's first deep-sea green intelligent technology test ship - the "Future" has been officially delivered and commissioned since July 23, 2025. Currently, it has carried out sea trials with over 20 sets of key new maritime equipment. This ship, with a total length of 110.8 meters and a full load displacement of 7000 tons, is known as the "sea mobile laboratory". Its completion will effectively bridge the "last mile" of China's new maritime equipment from the laboratory to domestic application.
