Apple has categorized iPhone 5 as a discontinued product.
Apple has updated its official list of retro and outdated products, officially reclassifying the iPhone 5 released in 2012 and the 8GB version of the iPhone 4 released in 2011 from retro products to outdated products. According to Apple's product classification rules, these two models will no longer receive official repair support, and Apple will also stop supplying related repair parts. This also means that the two classic models have completely ended their historical mission in Apple's official product line.
