Canada and the five Nordic countries will strengthen defense cooperation in the Arctic region.
On March 15th, local time, Canadian Prime Minister Kani and the leaders of five Nordic countries, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Norway, and Iceland, held a meeting in the Norwegian capital, Oslo. The participating countries issued a joint statement emphasizing that they will deepen cooperation based on international law and common values, strengthen security and stability in the Arctic region, and enhance defense cooperation through joint military exercises and improving defense industrial capabilities.
