Iraq claims Baghdad International Airport and surrounding areas were hit by rocket fire, injuring 4 people.
On the evening of March 15th local time, Saad Maan, the head of the security media center under the Iraqi Joint Operations Command, issued a statement stating that at 19:00 on the 15th, Baghdad International Airport and its surrounding areas were hit by 5 rockets, injuring 4 people including airport staff, airport security personnel, and an engineer. The statement said that the rockets landed on the Baghdad International Airport security line, a desalination plant, an air force base near the airport, and near the Karkh Central Prison. After the attack, Iraqi security forces immediately launched a comprehensive search operation and found a rocket launcher inside a car in the Radwaniya area of southwest Baghdad.
