Hou Zongfang, Vice President and Strategic Investment Advisor of UBTECH, stated in an interview on March 14th that they plan to invest in and build the "Six-One" project in Shanghai. This project includes the establishment of a commercial humanoid robot intelligent manufacturing base in Shanghai, with the future annual production capacity expected to exceed 3000 units; the creation of an embodied intelligent application transformation research institute in Shanghai, with a focus on industrial application transformation; the establishment of a global brand headquarters in Shanghai; the development of an entrepreneurial incubation platform in Shanghai; and the initiation of an industrial technology development fund in a robot sub-sector in cooperation with Shanghai's state-owned platforms, focusing on embodied intelligent industry-related enterprises. Additionally, they are calling for the construction of the first national embodied intelligent numerical computing integrated demonstration zone in Shanghai, to build a data rights transaction and small model open source inclusive platform, attracting both early-stage and large-scale embodied intelligent enterprises to settle in.
