The two-year government bond yield in Germany rose 13 basis points this week.
At the end of the European market on Friday, the yield on German 10-year government bonds rose by 2.6 basis points to 2.983%, with a cumulative increase of 12.3 basis points for the week, trading overall in the range of 2.812%-2.992%. Since the end of the European market on March 10th, it has continued to rise. The yield on two-year German bonds rose by 2.4 basis points to 2.442%, with a cumulative increase of 13.1 basis points for the week, trading overall in the range of 2.231%-2.466%; the yield on 30-year German bonds rose by 1.5 basis points to 3.533%, with a cumulative increase of 11.1 basis points for the week, continuing to rise overall. The yield spread between 2-year and 10-year German bonds fell by 0.077 basis points to +53.469 basis points, with a cumulative decrease of 0.991 basis points for the week.
