The announcement from Hainan Airport states that in February 2026, the company's 7 holding airports and 2 managed output airports had a total of 34,602 takeoffs and landings, an increase of 2.30% year-on-year; passenger throughput was 6.0077 million, an increase of 7.09% year-on-year; and cargo and mail throughput was 41,294 tons, an increase of 50.68% year-on-year. Among them, the international routes showed significant growth, with takeoffs and landings, passenger throughput, and cargo and mail throughput increasing by 28.26%, 35.37%, and 129.76% year-on-year respectively. The data of the three airports on Hainan Island also showed a growth trend.
