Data from the Spring Festival Transport Work Special Team of Integrated Transport shows that on March 12, 2026, the total cross-regional passenger flow in the society was 172.74 million, an increase of 0.4% compared to the previous period, and a decrease of 8.5% compared to the same period in 2025. Specifically: railway passenger volume was 9.277 million, an increase of 1% compared to the previous period, and a decrease of 21.7% compared to the same period in 2025. Road passenger flow was 160.71 million, an increase of 0.3% compared to the previous period, and a decrease of 7.7% compared to the same period in 2025. Among them, the commercial passenger volume on highways was 32.6 million, an increase of 2.8% compared to the previous period, and a decrease of 2.1% compared to the same period in 2025; the non-commercial passenger volume of small cars on highways and ordinary national and provincial roads was 128.11 million, a decrease of 0.3% compared to the previous period, and a decrease of 9% compared to the same period in 2025. Waterway passenger volume was 668,000, a decrease of 1.3% compared to the previous period, and an increase of 15.2% compared to the same period in 2025. Civil aviation passenger volume was 2.085 million, an increase of 2.1% compared to the previous period, and a decrease of 5.4% compared to the same period in 2025.
