On March 13th, the China Automobile Dealers Association released the results of the February 2026 "Automobile Dealer Inventory" survey: the comprehensive inventory coefficient of automobile dealers in February was 1.95, an increase of 31.8% from the previous month and 21.1% year-on-year. According to data from the China Automobile Dealers Association's passenger vehicle branch, the retail sales volume of passenger vehicles in February was 1.043 million units, based on which the total inventory of dealers at the end of February was estimated to be approximately 2 million units.
