The US Treasury Secretary said there is currently no need to worry about the cost of targeting Iran.
On March 12th local time, US Treasury Secretary Benson said in an interview with British Sky News that according to recently released data, the United States has spent $11 billion in less than two weeks to combat Iran. Although "11 billion dollars is indeed a huge sum," the US fiscal plan has built-in flexibility, so there is currently no need for concern in the US. In addition, Benson also accused the UK of not authorizing the US to use the Diego Garcia military base, which has caused the US to delay the ability to fully implement military plans. US B-2 bombers had to make a round trip flight lasting 37 hours, and any delays would increase operational risks.
