On March 12, China National Chemical Fertilizer Company, one of the main distributors of potassium fertilizer in the country, issued a notice. At this critical period for spring farming in the country, the company called for customers to refrain from speculation and hoarding, and to actively maintain market stability. A staff member of China National Chemical Fertilizer Company stated that the purpose of this notice is to appeal to the market to quickly pick up goods and deliver them directly to end users, in order to regulate market order. Prior to this, several potassium fertilizer companies had already announced prices and sales volume accepting social supervision.
