Today, the first unit of the "Hualong One" nuclear power plant in the Yangtze River Delta region - Unit 1 of the CGN Zhejiang San'ao Nuclear Power Project - was successfully connected to the grid, marking the official capacity of the unit to input electricity into the grid. With the issuance of the grid connection command, Unit 1 of the CGN Zhejiang San'ao Nuclear Power Project was successfully connected to the grid, generating its first electricity, taking a critical step towards its official production target.
