Market research firm CounterPoint Research indicates that, unlike previous cycles, demand in the current memory market will not decrease even if prices rise. The supply shortage issue is not expected to be substantially resolved until the second half of 2027. This is because the demand for server DRAM and high-bandwidth memory for building artificial intelligence data centers has exceeded the overall market demand.
