Ministry of Finance: Establishing a "Expenditure for Special Ultra-Long Term Treasury Bond Arrangement" Account.

The Ministry of Finance has issued an announcement to add new expenditure items in the functional classification of government fund budget expenditures. These include the establishment of an expenditure item for "expenditures for the arrangement of ultra-long-term special national bonds," reflecting financial expenses incurred using income from ultra-long-term special national bonds; the establishment of an expenditure item for "interest expense subsidies," reflecting expenditures on interest subsidies and expense subsidies using income from ultra-long-term special national bonds; the establishment of an expenditure item for "supplementary capital," reflecting expenditures on the provision of additional capital to financial institutions using income from ultra-long-term special national bonds; the establishment of an expenditure item for "risk compensation expenditures," reflecting expenditures on risk compensation to financial institutions using income from ultra-long-term special national bonds; and the establishment of an expenditure item for "other financial expenditures," reflecting other financial expenses incurred using income from ultra-long-term special national bonds, in addition to the above items. This notice shall come into effect from the date of issuance.
